There are many days in a year. There are many years in a life. There are not many days you think of as the best days of your life. Luckily, I can remember some of these, and remember saying on that day, "this is the best day ever". I decided to list a few.
1. Going to the Panthers Game with a group of friends early one day and the same day going to a Dave Matthews concert.
2. The days Caroline and Anna were born.
3. Our Wedding Day.
4. The day my parents came to visit us in our new home for the first time. Later that day my Dad had a stroke, and would die the next.
5. Any 4th of July with our friends at Lake Norman.
6. Watching fireworks on a blanket with Dave, Anna and Caroline on a hill with the fireworks overhead.
7. Fishing in Morehead City.
8. Drinking Coco Locos in Cocoa Cay Bahamas, Drinking Rum Punch in Grand Cayman, Drinking Creamcicles on the deck of the ship, Drinking tubs of coronas poolside. (It's quite a site to see a bucket of coronas all open with limes waiting for you!)
9. Getting my first Tennis Raquet. (Prince)
10. Last 4th of July when we watched a parade, had friends over, and went to see the guys fight over a greesed watermelon in the pool.
11. Our friends' weddings and rehearsal dinners. ANY OF THEM!
12. When Dave and I went to Disney's Carribean Grill ontop of the Polynesian Hotel, and sipped champagne, ate a way expensive dinner, and watched the fireworks over the Magic Kingdom while the restaurant had the lights dimmed so you could see them easier. HOW ROMANTIC!
13. Going to Lazy 5 Ranch with the family.
14. This past weekend. Friday our Egg Party, Saturday Community Egg Hunt, Neighbors Egg Hunt, Sunday Big Dinner with both families. It was one of the best weekends we have had in so long.
I am sure there are many more, but it seems that the most memorable days are the ones that sometimes things do not go as planned, or days that you just sit back and let things happen around you. It is always important to take the time out to absorb every moment around you.
